At most doggy day care businesses, the ratio of dogs to handlers can be as high as 10, 15, or even 20:1. Without proper care, it's easy for puppies to run themselves into a frenzy and for the older dogs to wile away the hours sniffing here or there, or just taking a little nap in a quiet corner.
